Infrared Heat Therapy in Timonium, MD

Infrared saunas use specialized heaters that emit light energy absorbed directly by your body, creating warmth from within. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the surrounding air, infrared saunas warm you internally — allowing for a deeper sweat at lower, more comfortable temperatures.

Infrared Heat Therapy

Halotherapy / Salt Therapy in Timonium, MD

Halotherapy, also known as Dry Salt Therapy, naturally supports both respiratory health and skin wellness. At our Salt Therapy in Timonium, MD, a halogenerator disperses finely ground, medical-grade salt into the sauna space, allowing you to gently inhale the particles; it’s normal to notice a light salty taste in the air. As you breathe it in, the salt may help calm nasal inflammation, absorb common allergens and irritants, and support the respiratory system with its natural antibacterial properties — offering relief for concerns like asthma, allergies, and chronic congestion.

Those same purifying qualities make salt therapy beneficial for the skin as well. Dry salt sessions help reduce bacteria, support healing of irritated or compromised skin, and provide gentle exfoliation by clearing away dead skin cells and unclogging pores. Over time, this can promote a smoother, clearer complexion and may help manage conditions such as eczema or psoriasis while supporting a more youthful, refreshed appearance.

Red Light Therapy in Timonium, MD

In addition to infrared and salt therapy, our sauna includes built-in LED red light therapy, available to add to your session at no additional cost. Red light therapy is FDA-cleared for certain pain and skin concerns, enhancing your infrared salt sauna experience — simply let us know you’d like it on, and we’ll take care of the rest.

The sauna also features soothing chromotherapy lighting and Bluetooth capability, so you can customize your environment with calming colors and your favorite music for a fully personalized wellness session.

Why is Our Salt Therapy in Timonium, MD Beneficial?

Many people turn to salt therapy for its natural ability to support a variety of common concerns. Some of the most frequent reasons clients seek halotherapy include:

Respiratory Support: Ongoing sessions may help ease symptoms related to asthma, bronchitis, sinus congestion, and seasonal allergies by promoting clearer airways and reducing irritation.

Skin Concerns: Conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and acne may improve thanks to salt’s soothing and purifying qualities. During sessions, salt also provides gentle exfoliation, helping to clear dead skin cells and unclog pores for a healthier-looking complexion.

Stress & Low Energy: The peaceful salt room environment encourages relaxation, which can help lower stress levels, enhance mental clarity, and support recovery from everyday fatigue.

Sauna Session Tour

When you arrive at our Maryland clinic, a client coordinator will guide you to our Salt Room, where you’ll find three towels prepared for your session — a gray towel for coverage after undressing and two white towels, one to sit on during your time in the sauna. Once you’re settled, relax and enjoy your session for the scheduled duration; the sauna door remains unlocked, so you’re free to step out at any time if needed.

After your session, place used towels in the laundry basket and feel free to use the complimentary body wipes available near the exit before heading out. For infrared therapy, we typically recommend 30–45 minutes at 120–135°F, while dry salt therapy is best enjoyed for about 20 minutes at 88–104°F (with or without heat, depending on your preference). You may book salt therapy, infrared therapy, or combine both, and our sauna comfortably accommodates up to two guests — perfect for sharing the experience with a friend or partner.
