Kristy Hanley, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.

Acupuncturist

Kristy is a licensed acupuncturist with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. She graduated in 2004 from one of the top ten schools in the US for Traditional Chinese Medicine, The Atlantic Institute Of Oriental Medicine. Founded by medical doctors and acupuncturists from China, she received one of the best educations available in TCM. Kristy has also worked with many acupuncture providers in Maryland with backgrounds in Five Element acupuncture, and has learned to incorporate treatments which are result- oriented and have proven to bring relief to her clients.

Kristy previously worked in the Community Acupuncture setting at Community Acupuncture of Towson, where she developed her distal treatment plans shown to provide relief for almost any symptom. Kristy also worked as the Director of Outreach for Mend Acupuncture, providing Community and Private acupuncture sessions. In 2016 she presented the first Acupuncture Grand Rounds in Oncology for Western Medical Providers CEU credit at GBMC, a service which continues to this day. Kristy’s passion to bridge information, and support the collaboration of Western and Eastern medicine, can be seen in every treatment and training she provides clients and fellow acupuncturists.

Sarah Moon, DAcHM, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.

Acupuncturist/Clinical Director

Sarah Moon is a Maryland State Board-licensed acupuncturist, certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and her Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAcHM) from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM).

Before her career in Integrative Medicine, Sarah attained a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Her diverse educational background provides a solid foundation for integrating traditional Chinese medicine with modern scientific principles.

Passionate about holistic healing, Sarah advocates for a balanced approach that harmonizes Western and Eastern medicine. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal health and wellness, utilizing a comprehensive treatment approach that includes acupuncture, gua sha, herbal medicine, electro-acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, meditation, and personalized lifestyle recommendations.

Sarah’s mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate, and reliable care to support her patients’ wellness journeys and ensure they receive the utmost benefit from each treatment.

Bing Wang, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., Ph.D., PA-C

Acupuncturist

Bing Wang is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Maryland. Bing graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, which is one of the most prestigious universities of traditional Chinese Medicine. He holds the Medical Bachelor degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Doctor degree of Integrative Medicine. Bing is also certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in the United States.

Bing brings the diverse medical experiences to our clinic. He previously worked as an acupuncturist in China, and then he was funded and completed some medical research projects in Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins Hospital. For the past few years, Bing has been working as a physician assistant in GBMC and Franklin Square Hospital, and an acupuncturist as well.

Bing’s education and experience in both oriental and western medicine are unique and exceptional, which benefits his practice and provides the advanced acupuncture care for his patients. He believes regaining the balance and harmony of Yin & Yang is the key to get rid of exogenous pathogenic factors, stimulate the inner energy to adjust the excessive or deficiency of the body and promote recovery from diseases. Bing’s belief is that “To every patient, every time, you will provide the care that you would want for your own loved ones.”

Yuna Oh

Batya Kleen, D.Ac., L.Ac.

Acupuncturist

Batya Kleen is a licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Maryland. She received her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University College of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with an emphasis in Sports Medicine, and her Doctorate of Acupuncture with an emphasis in Integrative Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. She has completed certification and training in Craniosacral Therapy from the Heartwood Institute.

Through her training at Northwestern Health Sciences, she’s completed several internships that provided integrative care. These included the Integrative Clinic of Minnesota where she worked with chiropractor, massage therapy, and medical students to develop plans of care for their patients, and the Human Performance Center where she helped patients who were athletes. Batya also interned at the UMMC Riverside Hospital, where she treated post-op orthopedic surgery patients and antepartum patients.

In addition to acupuncture Batya also provides:
CranioSacral Therapy, a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on technique that deals with the movement of the fascia and connective tissue primarily around the central nervous system. By using light touch, the flow of cerebral spinal fluid is assessed, and restrictions in flow are gently released allowing for normal function to occur.

It can be used for a variety of ailments including:

  • Chronic Pain and Orthopedic Problems
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • TMJ Syndrome

Craniosacral Therapy sessions are done with clothes on in a quiet and private setting. The therapist starts the session by gently touching various parts of your body to monitor fluid flow and tissue movement, noting areas with restrictions. Delicate manual techniques are then used to release restrictions and improve function.

Sessions can last one hour or more, and can be integrated with other therapies. Experiences can differ between individuals however, in general sessions are relaxing and patients will feel warmth or gentle pulses in the area the therapist is working.

Yuna Oh

Trisha Sater, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac.

Acupuncturist

Trisha is a Maryland licensed Acupuncturist and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA. Five Branches University is recognized as a leading TCM school worldwide, emphasizing the integration of TCM with Western Medicine.

Before her career as an acupuncturist, Trisha earned her Bachelor of Arts, Social Advocacy from Cal Poly Humboldt and began a career in non-profit organizations. Trisha worked for many years managing programs that provided community support through re-entry, employment, housing, and case management services. This experience paved the way to Trisha’s collaborative healthcare approach.

Her treatment style utilizes modalities best suited for each patient’s unique needs, including acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion.

Outside of acupuncture, Trisha enjoys Qi Gong, Yoga, sustainable gardening, live music, and outdoor adventures.

Yuna Oh

Yvette Myers, L.Ac.

Acupuncturist

Yvette Myers is an acupuncturist licensed by the state of Maryland. Over seventeen years ago, she received her Master of Acupuncture degree from Maryland University of Integrative Health in Laurel, MD. She specialized in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Yvette has provided detoxification acupuncture to individuals in two Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Substance Abuse programs in Baltimore City. In practice, she treats various general medical conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, allergies, anxiety, depression, sports injuries., etc. Working with other practitioners to combine Eastern and Western medicine for the best possible outcomes. Yvette helps her patients feel better by supporting them along their healing path.

Trebreh Johnson, L.Ac., LMT

Acupuncturist/Massage Therapist

Trebreh Johnson is a Maryland-licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist with a background in exercise science and integrative care. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, completed his massage training at the Cortiva Institute, and received his Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine.

Trebreh works with a wide range of conditions, with an emphasis on pain management, orthopedic concerns, and recovery. His approach combines acupuncture and massage therapy with modalities such as cupping, gua sha, and electrostimulation to provide effective, individualized care.

He is passionate about helping patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and feel more connected to their overall health. Trebreh creates a treatment experience that is both relaxing and educational, while also guiding patients on ways to support their progress outside of the treatment room.

Sarah Fask, RMT

Massage Therapist

Sarah completed her 600-hour Professional Massage education at the Potomac Massage Training Institute In Silver Spring, Maryland in early 2020. She brings over 8 years of experience teaching yoga in the Baltimore area as well as training in the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education in New York to her practice. She is passionate about body work and believes in the body’s inherent capacity to heal itself when given compassionate, informed cues and strives to provide each client with the tactile information their body needs to activate the relief and relaxation they are looking for. Sarah is excited to join the team at Resilient Health Acupuncture and Wellness.

Sherry

Miya Cooper, RMT

Massage Therapist

Miya is a licensed massage therapist in Maryland. She obtained her massage license in 2018 from the Fortis Institute in Towson, and has been applying her healing touch through massage ever since.

Miya takes the time to listen and learn about each of her client’s needs. She ensures her attention to detail and caring touch are focused on the most needed areas for therapeutic relief and healing. Miya is excited to partner her skill and experience providing massage with the healing and preventative treatment of acupuncture, to promote natural healing and the prevention of stress and injury to the body.

Katelyn Davis, CCMA

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant/Clinic Coordinator
Katelyn is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Towson University. Katelyn started at Resilient Health Acupuncture and Wellness in May of 2021, and has fallen in love with the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine and what it can do for those who may not have found relief with other treatment modalities.

Along with administrative duties, Katelyn administers Deep Tissue Laser Therapy treatments to clients, utilizing her knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and eastern medicine to provide quick and effective pain relief. She believes that both eastern and western medicine have a place in today’s healthcare system, and the integration of the two is important for both physical, mental, and spiritual health.
